Mildred Gantte Rodeffer

MILDRED GANTTE RODEFFER, of Dandridge, TN passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Rodeffer was a member of the French Broad Church of the Brethren in Dandridge. She was employed by Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Co., of Jefferson County for 50 plus years and was also the owner of Gantte Insurance Agency for the past 31 years and was proud to have represented State Auto Insurance Co., for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Rodeffer; her parents, George G. and Ruth Cox Gantte; brothers, Paul Gantte, James Allan Gantte and Everett L. Gantte. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Betty Gantte; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Ron Wine officiating. Interment graveside services will be 11:0 a.m. Thursday at the French Broad Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the French Broad Church of the Brethren Cemetery Fund, 3306 Brethren Church Road, White Pine, TN 37890, or to The Field of Dreams Activity Center Fund, P.O.
