Mildred L. Poe Kyte

MILDRED L. POE KYTE, age 85, of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 following an extended illness. She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Byrl Edward Kyte; son, Gregory Edward Kyte; sister, Imogene Russell; brother, J.P. Poe; niece, Kay Russell Noonkesser; brother-in-law, Myrl Kyte. She was a truly loved mother, grandmother and friend and will greatly missed. She is survived by her children, Steve ( Linda) Kyte and Lannie ( Kathy) Kyte; special grandchildren, Selena (John) Stout and son Aaron, Christa (Mickey) Stewart and their children Mekhi and Christana; sisters, Kathleen Poe, Sarah Poe and Betty (Paul) Franklin; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation for their special care to the nurses and physicians at the University of Tennessee Heart Hospital Wing at 3rd Floor West. Funeral services, Friday, June 21, 2013, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Hollifield officiating. Interment graveside services, Saturday 11:00am at Hillcrest Cemetery.
