Mickey William Crocker

MICKEY WILLIAM CROCKER, age 67, of White Pine, TN passed away suddenly at his home on July 27, 2010. He was a decorated combat veteran serving three tours in Vietnam and was also a Purple Heart recipient. Mickey was a member-at-large of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Mack Jr. and Thelma Lane; sister, Mary Valez and best friend Bobby Joe Kimbrough. Mickey is survived by his son, Roger (Lora) Shepard of Morristown; daughters, Crystal Crocker of Nashville and Alecia Crocker of Newport; brothers, Johnny (Linda) Lane, Jerry (Lorene) Lane and Jim Lane, all of White Pine, Tommy (Martha) Lane of Morristown; sisters, Kay (David) Parton, Sue (Everett) Tipton, Linda Lane, Becky Harvel, all of White Pine, and Rita (James) Helton of Greensboro; NC; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Rev. Brian Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside military service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at White Pine Cemetery.
