Michael C. Jenkins

MICHAEL C. JENKINS, age 53, of Talbott, TN passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He was a beloved member of the community, having served as a volunteer firefighter for 28 years, holding office as Assistant Chief for over 24 years. He worked for Cherokee Health Systems for 17 years and considered them an extended family. Preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Shirley Jenkins. His passions were music, motorcycles and making people laugh. He attended First Baptist Church of White Pine. He is survived by his wife, Denise; son, Kade; siblings, Curtis Jenkins, Debbie Brown and Annette Jenkins. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Osborne officiating. Entombment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
