MICHAEL "MIKE" ISAACS, age 60, of Dandridge, TN, formerly of Connersville, IN passed away suddenly Thursday, July 29, 2010 as the result of a work related accident. He was a member of Blue Springs Church of God in Strawberry Plains, TN, where was a big supporter of his church and church family. Mike was a self-employed tree trimmer who lived and worked daily for his family that he dearly loved. He also loved the people of Dandridge and truly enjoyed the daily fellowship of the breakfast and lunch patrons at Tinsley-Bible Drug Store. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was proud to have served in the Army Reserves for 8 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Meda Fawler Isacs and in-laws, Eugene and Jeanne Krepp. Mike is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Isaacs; daughter, Megan and husband, Tony Lee of Dandridge; son, Morgan Isaacs of Asheville; grandchildren, Erica, Brent, Lauren and Kara Lee; brothers, Gary and wife, Wanda Isaacs, and Ernie and wife, Barbara Isaacs, both of Connersville, IN; sister, Karen and husband, Jim Bryant of McKee, KY; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special family members, Millie Isaacs and Naomi "Sugar" Isaacs. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2010 at Blue Springs Church of God with Rev. Don Ingram, Rev. Gary Lee and Rev. Dexter Worrell officiting. Interment to follow in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142, or to Blue Springs Church of God, 3265 Blue Springs Road, Strawberry Plains, Tn 37871.
