DENTON, age 49, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away suddenly Friday morning, November 17, 2006. He was an employee of ETMC at Oak Ridge, TN. Preceded in death by parents, Ed and Florence Denton. He is survived by children, Shannon (Jay) Delk of New Market, Amy (Jeremy) Carter of Florida, and Michael J. Denton of Knoxville; grandchildren, Shawn and Zackary Delk; brothers, Danny Denton and Jim Denton; sisters, Ramona Clabo, Joyce Rhea and Sharon Rhinehart, all of Strawberry Plains. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2006 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Dennis Kinnan and George Lee officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Caledonia Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
