Melissa (Missy) Smith

MELISSA (MISSY) SMITH, age 41, of Newport, TN, and formerly of Meigs Co. OH, passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon, June 12, 2010 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born November 12, 1968 in Goshen, IN. Missy was presently an assistant manager for McDonalds?s of White Pine. She is survived by her husband, David A. Smith of Newport, TN; cherished pet, Hollie; father and mother, Richard and Linda Rife of Strawberry Plains, TN; brothers, Jeff (Gloria) Rife of Dandridge, TN and Gregory Rife of Dallas, TX; sister, Robin (Dave) Grim of Langsvile, OH; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening, June 15, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge, TN and will then be returned to Huntley-Cremeens Funeral Home in Wellston, OH for visitation and graveside service.
