Melba L Carter

Melba L. Carter, age 88, of White Pine, passed away at her home on Friday, March 4, 2016. She was born in Haxtun, Colorado to the late Frank and Nettie Sator, the second of 8 children. She is preceded in death by her in January of this year by her husband of 68 years Wayne Carter. She is survived by her children; son Richard Carter of Hermitage, PA, daughters; Eileen Kenstler, of Summersville, WV and Patty Carter of White Pine, grandchildren; Shirley Harris, Renee O’Rourke, Richard Carter, Jeremy Carter, Jarrod Carter, Stephen Kentsler, Aaron Kenstler and Michelle Howat, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 Great-great-grandchildren, sister; Mary Ann (Alvin) Kain, brother Robert (Neva) Sator both of Sterling, CO, also several nieces, nephews and other family members. A memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Kingdom Hall, Dandridge Congregation.
