She was a member of Central United Methodist church and was retired from Millers of Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Alice Turner; six brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Rose and Irene Turner; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews and a host of friends. Special thanks to caregivers, Louise Orrick, Doris Ann Wilson and Nora Mason. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Reverend Mack Turner, Allen Shupe and Reverend Owen T. McCloud officiating. Graveside interment service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
