The Enos family honors the life of Maxine Kendziorski Enos, 79, born in Alpena on August 23,1934. She passed away on February 3rd, 2014, in Jefferson City, TN, where she resided for the preceding 12 years.
Maxine was known as a dedicated wife, a conscientious mother and homemaker, and a generous, fun-loving hostess and friend with a keen sense of humor who made the world’s best lasagna.
Maxine is survived by her husband, Donovan Edward Enos, 89, of Jefferson City, Tennessee, and her five children Judy Poike (Bob Poike) of Livonia, Michigan; Amy Booms (Rich Booms, Sr.) of Northville, Michigan; Gene Enos (Michelle Enos) of Rochester, Minnesota; Kari Longacre (Bill Longacre) of St. Louis, Missouri and Eric Enos (Angie Enos) of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In addition, she loved seven grand children and five great grand children. She has two surviving sisters, Jane Moore of Cadillac, Michigan and Eileen Burgess of Houghton Lake, Michigan. Her deceased siblings are Jerry Kendziorski, Carol Tress, and Don Kendziorski.
A memorial gathering will be announced later this year.
