SOUTH, age 81, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at her residence on Wednesday, December 29, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Earl South and son, Floyd Pinkney Freeman. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Diana Parlier and son-in-law, Thomas G. Parlier; son, Joe Winston Freeman and daughter-in-law, Patricia A. Freeman; daughter, Nancy Ann Freeman and two other sons and one other daughter; granddaughters, Annette K. Ecret and husband, Billy Ecret, Jeanette K. Rice and husband, Roy H. Rice and fifteen other grandchildren; great grandson, Roy H. (R.J.) Rice, Jr. and five other great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2005 at Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Mr. Howard Glenn officiating. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Powell, TN. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
