HICKS, age 82, of White Pine, TN passed away early Tuesday morning, October 2, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hicks and parents, Joe and Elizabeth Ward. She is survived by daughters, Diane (Jim) Bowser and Becky (Charlie) Shelton; son, Gene (Shelvie) Hicks; granddaughter, Selena (Nathan) Britt; grandson, Bryan Hicks; great granddaughter, Leila Britt; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend Bernie Cagle officiating. Interment graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2007 at White Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
