Mary Frances Strange

Mary Frances McCoig Strange, age 93, passed away peacefully Friday, January 10, 2025, at Terra Bella Assisted Living. She had resided there for the last four years and had thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff there greatly appreciated her one liners and quick wit. She previously was a lifelong resident of White Pine and was a member of Leadvale Missionary Baptist Church. She was a 1949 graduate of White Pine High School. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Strange, daughter, Jackie, sisters, Lois and Jane, and brother, Bill. She is survived by her grandson, Stan Taylor (Donnalyn), special great-grandson, Tirian Taylor, great-grandchildren, Skye Rea (Houston) and Jareth Brashear, and son-in-law, Richard Taylor. Graveside Service and burial will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in White Pine Cemetery.
