Mary Lou Slover

MARY LOU SLOVER, age 75, of Fayetteville, GA and formerly of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday morning, July 22, 2015 at the Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was born and raised in Dandridge, TN and was a graduate of Maury High School, Class of 1958. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister and will be remembered for her caring for others. She was a homemaker and long-time make-up specialist for Merle Norman Cosmetics, where her motto was “ Caring is the basic ingredient we do”. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bedford Odell Slover, Jr.; parents, Lynn and Dorothy Blackburn; father, Conley Catron; sister, Barbara Clark; in-laws, Frank and Jesse Bolton. Survived by daughter, Cynthia Slover Brooks and husband Barry; grandsons, Brandon and Bryan Brooks; brothers, John (Mattie) Blackburn and Lynn (Judy) Blackburn. Funeral services, Friday, July 24, 2015, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Bailey officiating. Interment graveside services will be Saturday, 10:00am at Westview Cemetery, Jefferson City. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
