Mary Ruth Reece

MARY RUTH REECE, age 86, of Jefferson City, TN went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Oak Hills Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Clarence (Doc) Reece; parents, Elbert and Della Lyle; brothers, Troy Lyle and Franklin Lyle, Jr.; sister, Anna Mae Perkins. Survived by sons, Allan J. (Emma) Reece of Jefferson City, Lynn R. Reece of New Market, Randal E. (Sherri) Reece of Jefferson City; daughter, Winnona L. Reece of New Market; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special nephew and wife, Steve and Vicky Lyle; cousin and best friend, Velma Reuter. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Norris and Rev. Brian Rhodes officiating. Family and friends will gather at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. graveside interment service. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
