Mary Amanda (Nanny) Spears

MARY AMANDA (NANNY) SPEARS, age 80, of Dandridge, TN, originally of Sheffield, Alabama, passed away at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System on Monday, February 25, 2008 after an extended illness. She is preceded in death by her daughter,Beverly Ann Spears; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, William R. Spears; her children, Judith Petty, William Larry (Kathy) Spears, Steven J. (Jeanne) Spears; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Reverend Scott Ingram officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Coleman Cemetery in White Pine.
