Mary Catherine Mossburg

Mary Catherine Mossburg, age 53 of Jefferson City TN, passed away peacefully on 29th of July 2024. She was born in Morocco, Africa on October 28th 1970, daughter of Cathy Walker of WV and the late Bill Richardson of TN.

 She was a Surgical Tech for over 15 years, loved being a stay at home mom raising her kids. She enjoyed cooking, canning and working with the youth group of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She loved traveling to spend time with her beloved family in Australia, Astra, Gary, Renee, and Gabriel King. 

 Her family would like to thank the entire staff of the Jefferson City Rehabilitation Center for taking excellent care of Mary for the past 8 years.

 She is survived by her husband Brian Mossburg, daughters Devin and wife Meghan Erfourth, son Justin Mossburg, grandchildren Evelyn Magnolia Mossburg and Lola Kayte Mossburg, Mother Cathy Walker, siblings Deborah and husband Skip Rentzell, nieces and nephew Caitlyn, Allyson and Heath Rentzell and several other family members. 

 Special thanks to the US Coast Guard, Ron and Pam Hill, Brad Wright, and everyone who followed Mary’s journey on Facebook for the love and support that they have sent to her and her family over the past 8 years. 

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jefferson City Health & Rehabilitation Center (JCHR) Resident Counsel. A celebration of life will be held on this Friday, August 2nd from 1:30pm-3:00pm at Jefferson City Rehabilitation Center, Jefferson City TN. Officiated by Bill Rines.
