Mary Catherine Moody Kyte

MARY CATHERINE MOODY KYTE, age 91, of Dandridge, TN passed away September 14, 2011 at Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was a faithful member, Sunday School teacher and choir member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge several years before joining and helping to start Central Heights Baptist church on Highway 92 in Dandridge. She was devoted to her family and her love of music and her pets. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Dora Moody of Grainger County and was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Conrad Edward Kyte and granddaughter, Wendy Kyte King. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Margaret Kyte of Dandridge, Rev. Gordon and Karen Kyte of Roane Mountain; grandchild and husband, Wayna and David Goddard of Dandridge; great-grandchildren, Sydney King, Hannah King, Emma King and their father, Joe King, Jessica Goddard and Charles Goddard; sister, Helen Meredith of Lenoir City. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at Central Heights Baptist Church with Dr. Robert McCray and Brother Glen McMahan officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior the service at the church. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Saturday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
