Mary Kathryn Long

MARY KATHRYN LONG, age 90 of Dandridge, TN has gone to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ and to be reunited with her loving husband of 68 years Remes D. Long.  She was preceded in death by her husband, infant daughter; sons, Jack and Gary Long; parents, Jack and Mattie Grubaugh and brother, Bill Grubaugh and she is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Gary) Mills; sisters, Evelyn Cate, Grace Beckner and Sue Large; sisters-in-law, Mary and Susan Long and 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.  Kathryn was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Dandridge where she enjoyed her Sunday School Class and her church family.  She had a host of family and friends that meant the world to her, and she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all that knew her.  Funeral services will be held, Friday, February 17, 2023, 6:00pm at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Bob Brown and Rev. Dr. Justin Terrell officiating.  The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 to 6:00pm prior to the service at the church.  The graveside interment service will be Saturday, February 18, 2023, 11:00am at Pleasant Grove Piney Baptist Church Cemetery.
