Mary Mildred Johnson

MARY MILDRED JOHNSON, age 91, of Knoxville, TN and formerly of Strawberry Plains and Dandridge, left this world Saturday, September 6, 2014. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church and was an employee for Hillcrest Nursing Home for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Pearlee Jones; husband, Frank (Tom Cat) Johnson; brothers, Earl, Paul, William (Bud), Leroy, and Bob Jones; sisters, Gladys Glenn and Ella Spriggs; nieces and nephews, Bill, Faye, David, Jeff, Wayne and great-niece Nancy. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, Carolyn, Polly, Charles, Bobbie Jo, Freddie, Jack, Gary, Ray, Ann Ron, Mike Paula, Linda, Johnnie, Bill, David and special great nephew, Michael Spriggs who cared for her thru her illness; sisters-in-law, Georgia Jones and Mary Edna Jones; and a host of great- nieces and great- nephews; special friend and roommate at NHC, Helen Stone. Funeral services, Friday, September 12, 2014, 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel . Interment graveside services, Saturday, 10:00am at Deep Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday evening, 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE
