MARY MCPHEETERS JARNAGIN BRADLEY, died March 27, 2004. Born June 2, 1918 in Jefferson City, TN. Graduate of Vanderbilt University with a B.S.N. and M.S.N., she worked as a nurse at the VA Hospital in Murfreesboro. She was active at Downtown Presbyterian Church. A volunteer at Monroe Harding Children's Jpme and one of the first head start volunteers. She received the Sage Award from the Social Action Group on Aging and was on the boards of the Martha O'Bryan Center and the Tennessee Mental Health Association. Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Cloyce Flowers Bradley. Survived by sons, Cloyce Flowers Bradley, Jr. and wife, Debby, William mcPheeters bradley and wife Peggy, all of Nashville; daughters, Leah Bradley Williams and husband, Wynn, crested Butte, CO and Mary Morrison Bradley Shaub of Salt Lake City, UT; and son, Clay Jarnagin Brdley and wife Kasia of Lincoln, NE. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 30 from 4 until 7 p.m. at Mrs. Bradley's home. Rev. Pat McGeachy, minister emeritus, will conduct her funeral service on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Downtown Presbyterian Church. Interment will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Westview Cemetery in Jefferson City. Her grandchildren will serve as active pallbearers; Bryant Williams, bradley Williams, Braxton Bradley, Jenny Williams, Quentin bradley, Jessie Bradley, William Bradley, Preston Bradley and Ben Bradley. Honorary pallbearers are Tom jarnagin, frank Jarnagin, John Bradley, William F. Meacham, Dr. Patrick Meacham, Dr. Edmund Benz, Jr. and Yarrott Benz. Memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson, Nashville, TN 37203, Monroe Harding Children's Home, 1120 Glendale lane, nashville, TN 37204 or the Discretionary Fund at Downtown Presbyterian Church, 154 5th Ave. N., Nashville, TN 37219.
