A long time resident of Clinton, TN and a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Mell V. Walker, Jr.; parents, K. P. and Mary Hudson; brothers, James, John and Floyd Hudson; brother-in-law, Dene Quarles. She is survived by her sons, Mel V. Walker, III and his wife, Ann of Knoxville; Robert H. Walker; grandsons, Gabe and Lisa Walker of Knoxville, Matt and Lisa Walker of Powell, WY; great grandson, Landon Walker; sisters, Jenny Quarles; Betty Kinnick and husband, Bill of Jefferson City; sister-in-law, Mary Hawkins and husband, Charles of Johnson City; brother-in-law , Joe Walker and wife, Beth of Louisiana; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, January 12, 2008 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Wayne Hedrick officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
