Mary Elizabeth Hodge

MARY ELIZABETH HODGE, age 89, of Kodak, TN passed away on April 30, 2009. She was a member of French Broad Valley Baptist Church in Kodak. Preceded in death by her husband, John H. Hodge; son-in-law, John Franklin and granddaughter, Kathy Seagle; great-grandchild, Harold Seagle, Jr. She is survived by daughters, Shelby Franklin, Peggy Brooks (Jack), and Dinky Burchfiel (Steve); sons, Johnny Hodge (Gail) and Thomas Richard Hodge (Patt); grandchildren, Gary Franklin, Kim Reed, Richie Hodge, Tiffany Fox, Lori Clinger, Julie Fox, Lori Clinger, Julie Fox, Chad Hodge, Chris Hodge; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; half-sisters, Mae Sims (Ray) and Eula Baker. The family wishes to give a special thanks to caregivers, Zonna Gilbert, and nurses from Mercy Hospice, CNA April and Allison. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2009 at French Broad Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Graveside interment service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Underwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
