Mary Lou Hawkins Brooks

MARY LOU HAWKINS BROOKS, age 67, of Dandridge, TN was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 21, 2011 after a brief illness at UT Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Nathan Brooks; parents, Odra and Franes Hawkins; brothers, Billy and Alvin Hawkins. Survived by sons, Mark (Micki) of Dandridge, Nathan Jr. (Raquel) of Newnan, GA, and Richard of Palm Springs, CA; daughters, Cindy (Nathan) Horner of Hinesville, FA and Dawn (Chris) Seavone of Monroe, OH; grandchildren, Megan, Morgan, Mary, Kara, Ben, Hannah, Abby, Michael, Tori and Lilly; brother, Glenn Hawkins of Mascot; sisters-in-law, Hopie Brown and Joan Rector of Crossville, with a large loving family of nephews, nieces; brother-in-law, Raymond Brooks of Crossville; and special friend, Anne Lewis. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Deep Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sledge and Rev. Chad Chambers officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2011 at Deep Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the church.
