Mary Blanche Hardy Hamilton

Mary Blanche Hardy Hamilton, age 88, of White pine, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2003. Mrs. Hamilton was a graduate of Carson Newman College and was a retired second grade teacher of White Pine Elementary School. She was a member of the Leadvale Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. (Gus) Hamilton, Sr., father, John T. Hardy; mother, Opha Skeen Hardy; brother, Claude (Jake) Hardy; sisters and brothers in law, Johnny and Tommy Wray, Edna and Earl Winstead; sister in law, Francis (Mrs. James) Hardy. Survived by son, Charles A. Hamilton, Jr.; brother, James (Brown) Hardy; sister and brother in law, Lula Belle and William Hale; sister in law, Sue (Mrs. Claude) Hardy and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2003 at the Leadvale Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Robison and Rev. Charles Harkleroad officiating. Interment graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to services at the church.
