Mary Katherine " Kathy" Hall

MARY KATHERINE “KATHY” HALL passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Morristown-Hamblen Health Systems following an extended illness.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sibling and would want to be remembered for how she lived. She loved all her friends and any dog she ever met.  Kathy was preceded in death by father and mother, Clayton and Mildred (Hodges) Shiflet; daughter, Tina Lawson; brothers, Keith and Wayne Shiflet.  Survivors include her husband, Rex L. Hall; daughter, Shannon (Caleb) Castleberry; sisters, Ann (Ricky) Roberts and Wanda (Rick) Seaton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Following her wishes she was cremated, and the family wishes to have a private memorial service.  In lieu of flowers her wishes would be for memorial gifts be made to a local animal shelter in her memory.
