She was a life time member of the Jefferson City Church of God. Preceded in death by her husband, Howard Gass; daughter, Patricia; parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Marks, Sr.; and brother, William E. Marks, Jr. She is survived by daughters, Linda (J.W.) Foster of Morristown, Brenda (Donnie) Collins of Jefferson City, Teresa (Mike) Tipton of Jefferson City; son, Steve (Cherry) Gass of Dandridge; six grandchildren, Sharee Long, Richard Collins, Shannon Hefner, Travis Collins, Brandy Collins and Brad Gass; four great grandchildren; two step grandchildren;six step great grandchildren; brothers, John L. Marks, Earl Marks, Virgil Marks; sisters, Shirley Keith and Dorothy Shaffer. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening, January 9, 2005 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Walter Isbill and Reverend Bud Morrisett officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2005 to proceed to Wesley?s Chapel Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
