Mary Frances Sartain

Mary Frances Sartain, age 83 of White Pine, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 24, 2023, with family by her side. She was a member of Nina Baptist Church where she was treasurer and president of the WMU for many years. Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Zane L Sartain, son, David L Sartain, father, Cecil McGuire, mother, Mary (Bill) Williams and sister, Betty Cole. 

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Larsen and Robin (David) Rector where she made her home the last several months, grandchildren, Amanda Rector, Zane (Cale) Messamore, Cecil Sartain, Callie Relford, Haley Sartain, and Dylan (Whitney) Rector, great-grandchildren, Ethan and Abygail Huertas, Charlie, Cooper, Evie and Jeb Messamore, Timber and Dakota Seals, Casey Relford and Camden Brock, Cayden Davis and Nora Rector, great-great-granddaughter, Amelia Huertas-Sullivan, sisters, Barbara Williams and Linda Mann, brother, Danny Williams and several nieces, nephews and other family members. The family would like to express a special Thank You to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for taking such great care of mom.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 7:00pm in the sanctuary of Nina Baptist Church with the Rev Jimmy Norris officiating, family will receive friends between the hours of 5-7:00pm prior to the service at the church. Graveside Interment will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, 11:00am in White Pine Cemetery.
