Mary Ruth Vincil Fisher

Mary Ruth Vincil Fisher went to be with her Savior on June 24, 2024. She always loved church even from an early age. She came to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior on February 18, 1956 at the age of 10. She was raised in Lenoir City, TN and attended Nelson Street Baptist Church until she moved to Morristown, TN to be with family. She then attended Rocky Summit Missionary Baptist Church until she moved to Jefferson County. She resided there until her death. She joined and became a member of Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church in 1986 and attended there until her health no longer permitted it. She was a hairdresser for 40 years and leaves behind a lot of friends. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Fisher of Talbott, TN, sisters, Margaret McKee of Madisonville, TN and Susie Heath of Lenoir City, TN, nephews, Houston (Jennifer) Keys of Lewisville, TX and Justin (Kourtnee) Keys, niece, Emily Heath of Lenoir City, TN, special neighbor and adopted sister, Opal Cameron of Talbott, TN, and special nephew, Robert (Kathy) Fisher of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Fisher, parents, Max and Mary Kate Vincil, brothers, Ralph and Buster Vincil, brother-in-law, Bull Mckee and sister-in-law, Maggie Vincil. Thank you to all of the office workers of the Jefferson County EMS. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service with Rev. Phil Hopkins and Rev. Roger Porter officiating.
