Mary Alice Evans Lane

MARY ALICE EVANS LANE, age 81, of White Pine, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at her home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family and friends. She was a member of Leadvale Baptist Church in White Pine and was the wife of the late Herbert Lane, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded by two sisters, Mildred Barnett and Dorothy Rogers. She is survived by her children, Mary Jean Hannah and husband David, Donald Lane and wife Helen, Dwight Land and wife Linda; grandchildren, Steve Hannah, Angie Johnson, Paul Hannah, Greg Lane, Jeff Lane, Jon Lane, Teresa Kegley, Kevin Potts, Jennifer Lane; thirteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; brothers, Henry Evans, Charles Evans; sisters, Victoria Carter, Elizabeth Bible, Pearl Hodge and Lorene Gregg; and several nieces, nephews, special friends and caregivers. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. at Leadvale Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Harkleroad, Rev. Charles Robison, and Rev. Bobby Kitts officiating. Graveside interment services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Swanns Chapel Cemetery, The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
