DAIS, age 94, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was born May 19, 1913 in Altoona, PA. Preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Querry; and her husband, Fred G. Dais, whom she was married to until his death on August 22, 1971. She lived in Maumee, Ohio from 1928 until 1997 when she moved to Jefferson City, TN. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Maumee, Ohio for 60 years, where she taught Sunday School for 55 years, and had been a member of the First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City since 1997. She was a volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio from 1971 until 1997. She had been a resident of Darby House in Jefferson City for the past five years She was loved by everyone and will be missed very much. Survived by son, William Fred Dais and his wife, Lynda M. Dunn. The body will be shipped to Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home in Maumee, Ohio for funeral services and burial.
