She was a member of George Street United Methodist Church. Her most recent occupation was as door greeter at Wal-Mart of Jefferson City and she was fondly known by many as ?Momma Higgs.? She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Higgs, formerly of Rutledge, and her parents, Amos and Nellie Cameron, formerly of Bean Station. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Pat Higgs of Jefferson City, with whom she made her home, and Mark and Sonya Higgs of Greene County; special friends, Donna Clark and all the associates at Wal-Mart of Jefferson City. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2005 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Ginger Howe officiating. Family and friends will gather at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2005 at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Westview Cemetery for a 3:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
