Mary Sue Breeden, age 87, of Dandridge, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017. She was a member of Grant’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Dandridge. Mary Sue worked for many years as a teacher’s assistant for the Jefferson County School Board and volunteered at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clyde Junior Breeden; father and mother, John Wesley and Burvellee Rainwater Goforth; brother and sister-in-law, Hubert and Josephine Goforth; brother and sister-in-law, W. D. and Carolyn Goforth; brother, Kenneth “Krow” Goforth; and brother, Raymond Goforth. She was also preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Ray Breeden and Turner Breeden; and sister-in-law, Eula Breeden Patterson; and several nephews. She is survived by son, Ronnie (Betty) Breeden; daughter, Donna (Danny) McCarter; and son, Don Breeden; grandchildren, Kevin (Michelle) Breeden and Kendra (Daniel) Carreno; great-grandchildren, Courtney Luttrell, Nathan Breeden, Dante and Diego Carreno. She is also survived by her sister, Imogene Felknor; and sisters-in-law, Imogene (J.T.) Chambers, Marie Goforth, and Mae Goforth; and by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home on Saturday evening, November 4, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 5 at 3:00 pm at Grant’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 510 Hart Road at Interstate 40, Exit 417 across from McDonalds with Rev. Charles Shipley and Rev. Jared Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Grant’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Don Breeden, John Felknor, Mike Fain, Harold Smelcer, Alex Pasetti, and Gary Satterfield. Honorary pallbearer is Nathan Breeden.
