Mary Jane Anderson Nichols

Mary Jane Anderson Nichols, age 75, of Talbott, TN, and formerly of Kyles Ford, TN passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Jefferson City Health and Rehab, where she was under hospice care for a lingering illness. She was a life long homemaker and a member of Livesay Chapel Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin ?Rube? ?Big John? Nichols; parents, Marshall and Bennie Testerman Anderson; brothers, Charles ?Tuck? and Howard ?Wa? Anderson; brother in law, Homer Kinsler; and sisters in law, Beatrice and Fannie Mae Anderson. She is survived by her sons, James Nichols and companion, Sue Buckner of Jefferson City, Tony and Jamie Rimmer Nichols of Talbott; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Rimmer of Talbott; sister, Annette ?Ann? Kinsler of Kyles Ford; brother, A.J. Anderson of Kyles Ford; brothers and sisters in law, Olen ?Ode? and Joyce Anderson of Kyles Ford, and Herbert ?Hub? and Maxine Anderson of Rogersville; sister in law, Lula Anderson of New Market; several very special nieces, nephews, in laws, and other relatives. The family wants to extend a special thanks to the many wonderful friends and caregivers over the years. Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from McNeil Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Don Holt and Reverend Donnie Shaw officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City and Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McNeil Funeral Home (Sneedville) prior to the funeral services. Family and friends will gather 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning at McNeil Funeral Home to proceed to Livesay Chapel Cemetery (Hancock Co.) for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
