MARTHA JANE MARCUM PEAK, age 50, of the Point Pleasant Community, Newport, TN, went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, March 12, 2006. She was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church. Employed with the Department of Human Services of Jefferson County since 1979. Preceded in death by father, Tavis Marcum; sister, Linda Kennedy. Survived by husband of 27 years, Craig Peak; daughter, Sarah Peak; mother, Edna mcKenzie Marcum; sister, Rita Marcum Denton and husband, Sonny; mother-in-law, Joyce Peak; in-laws, Troy and Donna Peak, Kyra and Randy Galler, Lita and John Dossey and Katherine and Harold Russell; nephews, Johnny and Barry Denton, Kevin Peak, Cory Galler, Jared Galler, Garren Galler and Andrew Dossey; nieces, Katie Dossey and Kelly Flowers; uncle and aunt, W.E. and Lenora Rines. Thanks to all the firends and colleagues for their support during her illness. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2006 at Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine with Rev. James Hance officiating. Graveside interment services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Point Pleasant Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
