Martha "Mickey" Hill Rodeffer

MARTHA "MICKEY" HILL RODEFFER, age 74, of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday, December 19, 2008 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville following a long battle with emphysema. Mickey was born in Meigs County, TN and was raised in Spring City. She was an active member of the French Broad Church of the Brethren and was retired after many years as a pharmacist assistant for Tinsley-Bible Drugs. Preceded in death by her parents, Tant and Gertie Hill; brothers, Kenneth Paul Hill and J. T. Hill; sisters, Myrtle Teffer and Emily Davis. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Rodeffer; daughters, Teresa Rodeffer and Karen (Steve) Evans; son, Samuel (Wendy) Rodeffer; step-daughter, Sonja McNeely; grandchildren, Casie (Keith) Vance, Adam, John Curtis and Paige Evans, Wesley, Heather and Rachel Rodeffer; and many beloved nieces, nephews, friends and her church family at French Broad Church of the Brethren, where she served as church pianist for nearly 40 years. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2008 at the French Broad Church of the Brethren with Reverend Ron Wine officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
