She was a charter member of Holston Memorial Baptist Church. Former employee of Wal-Mart in Jefferson City, where she worked in the jewelry department. Preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Ruby Smith and sister, Jackie Gann. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Frank Elmore, Jr.; son, Jason Elmore of Strawberry Plains, TN; son, Mitchell Elmore of Corryton, TN; daughter, Ginger (Susie) Elmore of New Market, TN; grandson, Andrew Elmore; granddaughter, Whitney Elmore; sister, Shirley Stansberry of Strawberry Plains; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of St. Mary's Hospice. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Arthur Pedigo officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Eastview Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service.
