He was preceded in death by his nephew, Brandon Ashley. Survived by his wife, Cheri (Bryant) Ashley; son, Nathan Ashley of Opelika, Alabama; step-children, Kaitlyn and Ronnie Bryant of Kodak; mother, Mary Goff; sister, Margie Ashley of Dandridge; brothers, Jack and Michael Ashley of Mount Airy, Georgia, Johnny Ashley of Rock Hill, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2004 at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Mike Sledge officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
