Marjorie Robison

Marjorie Craddock Robison, age 99 of Dandridge, TN passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Tuesday February 28, 2023.  She was born on December 2, 1923 the daughter of the late Carl Wayne and Faye Cradddock.  Marjorie was preceded in death by husband, Elden LeRoy Robison and her parents and is survived by her children, Chris(Kim) Robison, Carla Robison, Elden “Robin” (Linda) Robison , Paula (John) Brock, Chuck (Donna) Robison, Belinda (Greg) Sergent, and Sister, Arlena Crum of Michigan; 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and many friends who will miss her immensely. She was a long standing member of Nina Baptist Church in White Pine TN and all her life she relied on her relationship with her savior Jesus and made sure her children knew Him as well.  She worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory during the Manhattan Project and later worked at Maury High School in the cafeteria , and Tennessee Handbags. At the age of 68 she took the daring step and opened up her own used car dealership where she eventually  retired at the age of 88. Afterwards she decided she would start visiting the “old people” in the nursing home.  She was known for her plain speaking and wicked wit and she was a firm believer in making you pick your own switch. Family and friends will greatly miss her, but she is finally Home.  Special thanks to the wonderful nurses at PCM and her personal caregivers and to Smokey Mountain Hospice for your kind care and Thank you Dr. Aaron.  You all became part of the family.
