MARJORIE J. CUSTER, age 78, of Talbott, TN and formerly of Independence, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2009. She was a beloved mother and homemaker. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Milton Custer; parents, Thomas and Mary Fisher Gunning; sisters, Louise Jackson, Rose Goshourn, Mary Meschaun; brothers, Mike and Herb Gunning. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Donna Custer; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Bobby Helton officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Central Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
