Member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge. Preceded in death by mother and father, Martha and Barry McFarlin. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Brooke and Eddie Thomas of Dandridge; son, Jody Sams of Dandridge; grandson, Landon Thomas; several other relatives and friends. Memorial funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend Larry Overton officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. prior to the memorial service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to East TN Children's Hospital, 2018 Clinch Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37916.
