Marion E. Reed

MARION E. REED, age 78, of Jefferson City, TN passed away at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the VA Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts, serving in the U. S. Army. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and was owner and operator of Reed Builders for over 35 years. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Charlotte Reagan Reed; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Dennis Strange of White Pine, TN; son, Charles Reed of Dandridge, TN; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Reed of Dandridge, TN; grandchildren, Crista Reed, Noah Reed and Molly Kate Strange; brother, Gene (Mary Lee) Reed of Seymour, TN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside funeral service with full military honors will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. R. J. Seal officiating. Friends may call at their convenience Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City.
