Marion Stella Honeycutt Dirl

MARION STELLA HONEYCUTT DIRL, of Jefferson City, TN, departed this earth on July 31, 2011. She was born to Leoda Parks and Fred Honeycutt on July 16, 1916. She graduated from Nelson Merry High School and retired from Jefferson Memorial Hospital in 1981 after many years of service. She was a faithful member of Martha Davis Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 52 years, Beb Lee Dirl; youngest daughter, Linda Ann Mills; mother and father; brother, Granville Honeycutt; sisters, Zelma Donaldson, Gladolia McFarland and Sara Cobb. She is survived by son, Albert Dirl of Jefferson City, TN; daughter, Leoda Bryant of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Tina Bivins of Rogersville, Robert (Michelle) Bryant and Letitia Mills, of Jefferson City; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Imani and Naja Bryant and Jackson Long; sister, Margaret Brazelton; niece, Sharon Wright; nephew, Donnell Brazelton; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Nathaniel Wilson, Jr. and Rev. Janice Johnson officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
