Member of Beth Carr United Methodist Church where she served as treasurer. President for the last five years of the United Methodist Women. She had 24 years membership with Hendricks Memorial United Methodist Church, which is now Faith United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, FL. She retired in 1989 from Duval County School System with 24 years of service. Preceded in death by her parents, James (J.M.) and Nell Bird. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Joe Dunham; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ronnie Dukes of White Pine; son, David Dunham of Boone, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence and Genie Dunham of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; several cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Beth Carr United Methodist Church with Reverend Fred Lehrer and Reverend Darrell Chambers officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2007 at White Pine Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
