Marie S. Worley

MARIE S. WORLEY, age 91 of Dandridge, TN formerly of Tifton, GA passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Evelyn (Stonecipher) Sumner and was preceded in death by her husband, Troy D. Worley; sisters, Agnes Shellhorse, Betty Lanpher, Carolyn Womack, Virginia Womack; brother, Everette Sumner. Marie was a member of the Tifton Baptist Church and the First Baptist Church of Dandridge where she was active in her Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Dandridge Garden Club, Dandridge Senior Citizens and the Jefferson Co. FCE. She is survived by her children, Debra (Thad) Epps and Kenneth Worley; grandchildren, Sandi Key, Erik Worley and Rose Worley; great granddaughter, Rhylie Key; brother, Carlton Sumner, several nieces, nephews and many special friends and her church family. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, July 13, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. A graveside inurnment service will be held at a later date in Tifton, GA.
