Marie Y Barnard

Marie Barnard, age 87 of Talbott, went home to be with her Savior on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to sew, garden and canning her harvest. She was a member of White Pine Free Will Baptist Church where she taught class for over 40 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kyle Barnard; parents, Floyde and Onald Yelton; brothers, Bill Yelton, Charlie Salts, Cate Yelton; sister, Anna Haywood. She is survived by her son, Chuck Barnard (Laura), daughter, Cindy Patrick; grandchildren, Nick Barnard (Chelsey), Brad Barnard (Kelsey), Bethany Barnard, Adriel Patrick, Aaron Patrick, Charlie Patrick (Brittany); great-grandchildren, Paisley Barnard, Gracelyn Barnard, Haven Patrick and Rhaelynn Patrick; brothers, Arlie Salts (Gladys), Frank Salts, Jr. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful care and support over the last few months. Graveside service will be on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Marie will Lie In State on Saturday, November 13, 2021 between the hours of 4:00-6:00 p.m. White Pine Freewill Baptist Church. Due to Covid, everyone is encouraged to abide by all CDC guidelines with face masks and social distancing.
