Marianne Masserant

MARIANNE MASSERANT, age 80, of Jefferson City, TN died at home on March 12, 2009. Mrs. Masserant was born on October 8, 1928 in Salem, OH to the late Joseph J. Benedict and Anna Sidlosky Benedict. She retired from Tuneup Masters, where she was a long time systems administrator. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, having served as a member of the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Masserant; sons, John Peter Masserant and David Paul Masserant; grandson, Christopher Phillips. She is survived by her son, Larry Masserant (Inge) of Dardenne Prairie, MO; her daughters, Marlene Holt (Ralph) of New Market, TN, Debbie Phillips (Paul) of Harbor City, CA, Suzanne Kump (Bill) of Columbus, GA; her grandchildren, Tom Masserant, Alayna Roetemeyer (Chris), Todd Holt (Jennifer), John Holt (Heather Gibson, Michael Holt, Millie Phillips, Jon Kump and Brad Kump; great-grandchildren, Justin, Chase, Kacie, Baylie, Jackson, Cheyenne, Anna Grace; and brother, Eugene Benedict. Funeral mass will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2009 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Dan Whitman officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Building Fund, 475 N. Highway 92, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
