Broadway Blvd. Jefferson City, TN 37760 Phone (865) 475-3892 Fax (865) 475-9916 OBITUARY: MARGARETE MURRIN DOLL, of Jefferson City, a resident of Darby House, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2004, three days after her eighty-seventh birthday. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, A. L. and Mabel Murrin; her husband, Dr. Eugene E. Doll; and two brothers, Bob and Felix. Although she began her college career at Carson-Newman College, Margarete completed her college degree at the University of Tennessee in her late forties and continued her education to receive a Master?s degree in Special Education. She dedicated the later part of her career working with children at several facilities in Knoxville and retired as a Special Education teacher at Lincoln Heights School in Morristown. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Carolyn Blevins; four grandchildren, Suzanne Wilkerson, Art Blevins, Alan and Shannon Blevins, and Kym Blevins; four great grandchildren, Alex, Jaclyn, Sydney and Noah. Services will at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2004 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City with Rev. Jim Dampier officiating. Inurnment will follow in New Market Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Family Enrichment Institute at Carson-Newman College.
