Margaret "Bonnie Lou" Moore

Margaret “Bonnie Lou” Moore age 93 of Morristown, TN passed away on Monday, September 21st, 2020. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Morristown. She enjoyed a life-long career in gospel and bluegrass music alongside her husband, Buster. Bonnie Lou and Buster performed for decades on radio and tv and eventually began the Smoky Mountain Hayride variety show in Pigeon Forge, TN where they remained until they retired in 1994. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Buster; parents Lantie and Edith Bell; brothers Lloyd and Theodore Bell. She is survived by her brothers Eugene and Troy Bell; sisters Joann (Chuck) Jenkins and Avery Sue Brooks; sister-in-law Helen Story Bell; niece Carla (Tony) Bradley; “special” great-nephew Matt Bradley and a host of other nieces, nephews, and family members. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 25th, 2020 at 11:00AM at White Pine Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Morristown or charity of your choice. In consideration of the health and safety of all those attending the service, Farrar Funeral Home strongly encourages all CDC guidelines be followed including wearing facemasks.
