Margaret Janice Seals Hopkins, age 76 of Talbott, TN passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.  She is preceded in death by her son, Freddy Hopkins, parents, George and Sylvia Seals, and great grandson, Izaaylan Hopkins.   She was a member of Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Fred Hopkins, son, Tim Hopkins (Christie West), daughter, Christie (David) Hensley, daughter-in-law, Melissa Hopkins, grandchildren, Scott (Casey) Hopkins, Sarah (Travis) Harness, Michaela Hopkins, Christina Hensley (Kylian Oostindjer), Leslie (Kenny) Dunn, and Dave and John Hensley, great grandchildren, Kailey Hopkins, Natalie Hopkins, Marika Hopkins, Talaylee Mayes, Carlos Cabrera, Leah Cabrera, Jazzy Hopkins, Dinah-Jo Hopkins, Colton Mayhew, Baylee Harness, Laithen Harness, Lily Dunn, and Rian Oostindjer, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Sartain Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Hopkins and Rev. Roger Porter officiating.  Graveside service to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday prior to the funeral service at the church.
